the entrance of the National Park, Cauterets at a height
of 950 M, has managed to develop its alpine and cross country skiing
activities without altering the authenticity of its natural surroundings,
as can be seen by the 40 lakes of the valley, the Pont d’Espagne,
the numerous waterfalls along the roads or the 110 Km of paths. To best appreciate this preserved natural environment you can go walking, fishing, climbing, mountain climbing, rafting or canyoning followed by a lazy pause on the holiday homes panoramic terrace and crowned by a trip to the thermal baths at the Thermes of Cauterets. You can equally profit from the swimming pool, ice rink, cinema or casino. |
